FabTax is a tax accounting practice based in Adelaide, South Australia, serving clients across Australia. We work with individuals, investors, and business owners who want their return prepared by an experienced team that treats their file with care.
We're not a high-volume practice. We work with a deliberate number of clients and we take the time to do the job properly. That's the difference between accounting that processes and accounting that gets it right.
From the Founder
Tax started at my kitchen table.
FabTax started at my kitchen table in 2011, with a baby on my lap and a handful of clients who trusted me to do their tax properly.
I didn't have a plan to build something big. I had two principles. Treat every person like their situation actually matters. And explain things in an easy way, so people understand their own numbers instead of just signing where I told them to.
Those two principles never changed, and they turned out to be the whole business.
It helps that I've sat on the other side of the desk myself. I've been an employee watching tax come out of every pay. I've run a business and worried about structure and cash flow. I've owned investment property and tried to make sense of what it all means at tax time. So when I look after a client, I'm not reading their situation off a form. I actually understand what they're going through.
Over the years, FabTax has grown into a practice that has served thousands of Australians. Some of them have been with me since those early days, through new jobs, new businesses, growing families, the lot. We've never stopped working the same way: you deal with the same person, year after year, so nobody ever has to start from scratch.
That approach is also what earned us Accounting Firm of the Year in 2024. But honestly, the thing I'm proudest of is the clients who've stayed the whole way.
